About the project
Like his deeply analytical videos, for over a decade Youtube creator John “Super Eyepatch Wolf” Walsh dedicated monumental efforts to building his EYEPATCH WOLVES universe across merchandise, videos, and more. An original world rich with layers of lore and complex human—as well as animal—characters as colorful as it is darkly mature, it was an honor to have helped bring EYEPATCH WOLVES to the world of comics for the first time. As lead producer I worked directly alongside John and his team on a near daily basis, reviewing every piece of art, story script, as well collecting and facilitating his feedback to ensure his vision was achieved. In addition to leading production, I helped build and manage our all-star creative team by recruiting the dynamic action of our artist Swim Nemo, the ever-compelling craft of writer Morgan Hampton (Green Lantern Corps), with vivid colors by Dojo Gubser (The Beginning After The End), and wildly imaginative concept art of Brobexx, all culminating under the stunning cover art of the immensely talented David Liu (D.SLOOGS). Thanks to this team,the first season of EYEPATCH WOLVES ran for 25 episodic chapters and is only the first part in the greater EPW universe to come.
